I like making something from nothing.

I recently found an old paper I had written in elementary school that said, “When I grow up, I want to be either a video game programmer… or a point guard for the Detroit Pistons.” How’d that turn out? Let’s just say I’m still a free agent.

Whether it’s virtual worlds, playgrounds for artistic expression, or climate tech solutions, I love building what a community needs.

Extra Life

Extra-Life is a 24-hour charity gaming marathon that benefits Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, and it’s one of my favorite days of the year. It’s great to bring friends together to have fun for a good cause; I’ve done it for 7 years now. If you want to join my team when the next one comes around in the fall, send me a message!

CEA / AHGL

The Corporate Esports Association (spiritual successor to the After Hours Gaming League) is like a corporate charity softball league, except with video games!

I’ve captained/organized teams for these leagues at Pocket Gems, Penrose, and Smule for a variety of games: CS:GO, Chess, Rocket League, Overwatch, League of Legends, and Heroes of the Storm.

I love creating opportunities for my coworkers to have fun together, so these are right up my alley.
